Located next to Chehalem Mountains AVA, Dundee Hills is about 30 miles Southwest of Portland and 40 miles from the coast. Dundee Hills has a long history in the Oregon wine industry, as the late David Lett planted the first Pinot Noir in 1965. Many of Oregon’s oldest and most notable wineries call the Dundee Hills home. The evaluation ranges from 200 ft to the peak of just over 1,000 ft. Jory soil is predominate and offers great drainage that is ideal for grape vineyards.
